Each January, nearly 900 educators, families, and business partners gather to celebrate an exceptional educator from every school. The district winner receives the title, a cash award, and a vehicle to drive for the year thanks to Daytona Kia and Daytona Mitsubishi.
New educators who exceed expectations are celebrated at a spring reception. One elementary and one secondary teacher are selected as First Year Teacher of the Year recipients.
